4. Take turns making statements: The next statement is made by the partner who still has fingers up, and the game continues until one partner has no fingers left.
5. Discuss each statement: After each statement, partners should take a moment to discuss their responses and any feelings that may arise. This can be an opportunity to deepen intimacy and understanding between partners.
6. Respect boundaries and stop if necessary: If a statement is made that makes a partner uncomfortable, they should feel free to decline to put down a finger and communicate their feelings to their partner. It’s important to respect each other’s boundaries and stop the game if necessary.
7. Optional – Add rewards or consequences: As a couple, you can choose to make the game more interesting by adding rewards for the partner with the most fingers left, or consequences for the partner with the least fingers left.
