After a quick trip to Walmart (their grocery pickup option is super convenient), our family got everything for this recipe in under $10. Not bad for feeding a family of 6!

How to Make Easy One Pot Cheesy Broccoli Pasta

Delicious any time of year, this simple meal is great for throwing together when you’re pressed for time. No hard-to-find ingredients to worry about! Everything here is found in most families’ homes.

My secret to making delicious pasta is using Swanson® Natural Goodness Chicken Broth instead of plain water when cooking. It adds so much flavor to the pasta – and the entire dish! It’s the perfect shortcut to truly delicious recipes.

Swanson® broths are made from the perfect balance of high quality stock, farm grown vegetables, and seasonings. I always make sure I have extra cartons of Swanson® broths on hand so I don’t run out. Grab a few extra cartons when you’re at Walmart so you can keep your pantry stocked too!

Start by heating the olive oil on a medium to large pot over medium heat. Stir in the garlic and cook until fragrant, about 30 sec to 1 minute. Don’t let it burn!

Pour in the Swanson® broth and turn up the heat to bring it to a boil. Stir in the pasta and frozen broccoli and bring it back to a boil.

Once it’s boiling, reduce the heat to low, cover with a lid, and let it cook for about 10 minutes (or until pasta has reached desired doneness).

If there is any liquid remaining after cooking, drain the excess and return the pasta and broccoli to the pot.

Serve with parmesan cheese sprinkled on top. It’s so good!
